Have you heard?! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Alberton School and, this year, we have several different ways for you to shop, pay, and support the students + library! Virtual Shopping will be open from April 21st-May 4th. In-person shopping runs from April 25th-28th. Students may be sent with cash OR you can set up an eWallet, where funds are immediately available for use at both the in-school and virtual book fairs. Plus, family and friends can contribute too! You will find a link at the bottom of this message that will give you information on the book fair, as well as easy instructions for setting up your eWallet. Alberton School recognizes that we all have our ups and downs, and sometimes extra expenses, such as a book, are not in the monthly family budget. Your donation will ensure every student can experience our special brand of #bookjoy with their classmates and leave the Fair with something they’ll love! We'd like to give a big shout out to our junior high track & field team on their performance at yesterday's Copper League Meet in Frenchtown. It was our team's first meet of the season, and they ran, threw, and jumped liked champions! We cannot wait to see what the rest of your season brings! Great job, and GO PANTHERS!

This is a friendly reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, April 13th is an early out for all Alberton School students. Students will be released at 3:10pm with school busses running their regular routes and arriving approximately 30 minutes early.

S E N I O R S P O T L I G H T # 1 : Liberty Notley Years at Alberton School: 3 1/2 Post-Graduation Plans: College Volunteer Activities: Earth Day Cleanups + Apple Orchard Day Staff or Teacher Who Impacted Her the Most: Mrs. Morgan because she has helped me through a lot. She has taught me so much and has helped me find myself. She is an amazing person and she does so much for everyone. Mrs. Wekkin has also impacted my life greatly. She was my first friend when I came to Alberton. She has a really great personality and never fails to put a smile on my face. Favorite Class + Why: My favorite classes are Government, Careers, and my TA class because they have my favorite teachers. Wise Words of Senior Advice for Younger Students: Stay on track and work towards what you want. You are the only person responsible for your future. Most Memorable Moment at Alberton School: My most memorable moment at this school would have to be all the stuff that happens in careers Congratulations, Liberty! WE ARE HIRING! Alberton School District seeks candidates for a temporary custodial staff member for the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year with possibility for extended work into the summer. Duties Include: Cleaning the classrooms, setting up for events, moving furniture, and other tasks as assigned.
