FTC2281 Alberton Panthers Robotics

Get to know us.

We're the Alberton Panther Robotics team, and we've been busy building robots for real-world challenges! We've competed in both the First Tech Challenge (FTC) and the SkillsUSA Urban Search and Rescue Robotics competitions. In FTC, we learned the basics of robotics and teamwork. In SkillsUSA, we applied those skills to a more realistic scenario, designing and building a robot to navigate a simulated disaster zone and find victims. It was a challenging experience, but we've grown as a team and learned a lot about engineering and problem-solving. We're excited to share our journey with you and show you what we've achieved.

Sponsors Needed!

We are mostly funded for our regular season! If we place at Worlds for FTC or Nationals (as we did last year) for SkillsUSA, we will need to do a great deal more fundraising.

We currently have $5,250 out of $6,000 for the season to cover registration, robot parts, and hotel rooms in order to successfully compete. We rely on the businesses and organizations around us to help us develop future STEM professionals and spread science and technology throughout our region.
